Job Description

  • review patient’s medical history, physical conditions and reaction to medication and order diagnostic test such as magnetic resonance imaging, CT scans, and PET scans to diagnose patients and interpret results 
  • perform surgery on the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves to remove tumours and relieve chronic pain
  • perform surgery to correct deformities and treatment of diseases of the spinal cord such as degenerative spine disorder and scoliosis
  • prescribe post-operative care, and observes and investigates patients' progress.
  • maintain records of operations performed
