We are recruiting for the following medical occupations: registered nurses and midwives, medical practitioners, surgeons, medical technicians, health diagnostic and promotion professionals,health therapy professionals and heath and service welfare managers.

We also recruit for very niche roles outside of the above-mentioned industries, including other specialist roles for regional areas of Australia, with a focus on, but not limited to, international candidates requiring employer-sponsorship.

Your application should include the following:

  • Cover letter – a brief of your current work situation and responses to the selection criteria
  • Current resume

*Both cover letter and current resume must be in either MS Word or PDF file format and must not exceed 4MB each to successfully get through our application database.

Alternatively, you may email your cover letter and updated resume in MS Word or PDF file format to recruit@healthcarestaffing.com, indicating the position of your interest as the email subject.

We will respond to you whether or not we have currently suitable open roles for you. Unless specifically requested in succeeding emails, there is no need to attach files other than your updated resume and cover letter.

Yes, we can facilitate employment with TSS visa/457 work visa sponsorship, but only if we have currently open and suitable role for you, and you have been chosen by any of our client companies for hiring. We do not have the bandwidth to search for job opportunities for every applicant. Hence, there has to be a genuinely available position for which you are qualified and have successfully been selected for a job offer at the end of the recruitment process.

No, we do not charge applicants, whether local or international, for job placement. Under Australian law, employment agencies are prohibited from charging recruitment costs to job applicants since recruitment fees are covered by the direct employer-client, including all expenses involved in the process of sponsorship and nomination in the case of overseas hires. Only the visa application itself and service fees for its processing are not part of the mandatory obligation of employer-sponsors.

Unfortunately, we do not process any temporary staffing requirements. We recruit only for full-time permanent roles, which are mostly for occupations that are work visa ‘8. sponsorable’. Our hiring client companies usually consider those on WHV if they are seeking long-term employment, with a view to permanent residency.

You will receive an auto response from the Recruitment Team when your application is submitted online.

Within 1 to 3 weeks after sending your job application, you will be contacted by the Recruitment Team if you have been shortlisted for the initial interview.

Once shortlisted and endorsed by the hiring client company, the progress of every application is largely dependent on the interest and availability of our hiring manager/s to conduct further interviews.

Interviews are generally held within 1 month of job ad posting, and a decision is usually made shortly after the last interview is held, and an offer is made within a week.

Job offers are made subject to reference checks, verification of qualifications, and any relevant pre-employment checks.

Yes, you may still apply as most of our hiring client companies are approved employer-sponsors. However, everything else equal in terms of qualifications and skills relevant to an open position, those who are currently onshore are always given priority for interviews over those who are still outside the country.

Please ensure that referee details are included in your initial application. You may add them at the end of your resume.

For some positions and depending on the hiring client’s company policy, written references may be required before the interview. Most verbal references are conducted post-interview.

Yes, you may be unsuccessful in one position and still be considered for another open role at the same time or in the future when a more suitable role becomes available.

When applications are unsuccessful, it does not always mean you are not qualified, but may not be “visa eligible”, and/or simply may have been bested by other candidates who are already onshore and with qualification and industry experience that more closely match the job requirements.

To be visa-eligible for employer sponsorship and increase your chances of being prioritised for job interviews of hiring companies, you must be able to present at least 3 years’ work experience relevant to the position and relevant qualification that is recognised in Australia.

For most trades occupation that are visa-sponsorable, they require skills assessment particularly for applicants coming from countries without mutual qualification recognition agreement with Australia.
